Professional Profile

Pamela is a full-time staff person in Program and Staff Development. Working in Cooperative Extension has been her most rewarding time, professionally. Connecting with fellow staff throughout the state of Kentucky has been her favorite part. She has been employed at the university since 2010 and in Extension since 2015.

She and her husband, James, have a small farm in Anderson County, which is both fun and tremendous work. In addition to four kids - who  are now adulting, for the most part - they have a Golden Retriever mix, Border Collie, Australian Shepherd mix, two cats, a  bunch of chickens and ducks, and a gecko.

Pamela has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Kentucky and is currently working towards a second undergraduate degree in Sustainable Agriculture, with a focus on Farming Systems and Livestock.
