Dr. Kenneth Jones serves as Director of Extension Faculty Development and Engaged Scholarship, which employs his leadership in the areas of program development and faculty/staff professional development for the UK Cooperative Extension Service. His work around engagement scholarship is connected to his responsibilities as Director of the UK Engagement Academy, which aims to foster expansive campus-community partnerships throughout the state. 

In addition, Ken is also a member of the UK Office of Faculty Affairs team, serving as the Assistant Provost for Faculty Professional Development.

Prior to his administrative roles, Ken served as a county agent for 4-H youth development, county agent for agriculture/natural resources and as a youth development specialist for the Kentucky 4-H office. He also currently holds a joint appointment as a faculty member in the Department of Community & Leadership Development.
