Professional Biography
Dr. Kenneth Jones serves as Director of the Program and Staff Development unit for the UK Cooperative Extension Service. In this role, his duties include providing statewide direction for program development and evaluation, facilitating the county Plan of Work process, aiding newly hired county Extension agents in the onboarding process and coordinating reporting and accountability efforts for UK Cooperative Extension. Ken also administers the Kentucky Extension Reporting System (KERS) and manages the USDA- NIFA Plan of Work and Annual Report processes for the UK College of Agriculture Food and Environment.
Prior to his current role, Ken served as a county agent for 4-H youth development, county agent for agriculture/natural resources and as a youth development specialist for the Kentucky 4-H office. He also currently holds a joint appointment as a faculty member in the Department of Community & Leadership Development.
